About Ms. Kelly (Founder & Teacher)Hi! I'm Ms. Kelly! I am professional singer who has been trained in classical voice, but also has a great love for theater and silly stories. As a military spouse, I have had the opportunity to move all over the country and re-invent my love of music in a variety of forms. Whether I am performing on stage, running an opera company, or teaching at a University, I have never forgotten the value and importance of teaching our next generation of "mini maestros." Since May of 2013, when my first little love came into the world, I have become an even larger advocate of the highest quality music education. Upon moving to West Lafayette, IN I discovered a need in the community for an infant and toddler music class and thought "Why not?" This could be a great way to share my gift with not only my own little babes, but other parents who want their children to grow and develop their love of music and song. I am thrilled to bring this program to Elizabeth City families and preschools. I look forward to making some musical memories with your precious children and the next generation of music lovers!

About Ms. Sandra (Teacher)Hi, I’m Ms. Sandra, and I love teaching music! I’m a classically trained singer and actor who loves learning and sharing about this great art form. Since coming to Elizabeth city in 2015, I’ve looked for ways to share my passion. You can find me at the College of the Albemarle, teaching Music Appreciation to a diverse group of students. You can hear me singing my heart out with Virginia Opera, COAST Players, or the Rocky Hock Playhouse throughout the year. Recently, I’ve been thrilled to be a part of mini MAESTROS, teaching at area preschools and in the community. Whether singing songs, reading silly stories, playing instruments, or shaking our sillies out, connecting with music makes a lasting impression. I look forward to making musical memories with your own mini MAESTRO!

About Ms. Kristin (Teacher)Hello there! I'm Ms. Kristin. I am a certified K-12 Music teacher who has been teaching music since 2004. My family and I moved to West Lafayette in 2015 and currently, I am staying at home with my 3 precious babes. Throughout my career as a teacher and vocalist I have worked with all ages in a variety of musical settings, Some of my favorites have been high school choir groups, along with piano, and guitar. I joined the mini MAESTROS class this past winter with my daughter Hannah, to provide an interactive musical group setting for her and I to participate in together. We enjoyed every minute with Ms. Kelly and Hannah still sings the songs we learned. I am so excited to have the opportunity to be a teacher with mini MAESTROS and share my love of music along with you and your little ones. As a Mom, I understand the benefits, and impact that music can have on children as young as infants. I am excited to share various ways to help baby and care givers alike interact/bond more through music and movement. This can set the stage for a life long love of music and can even benefit the brain by boosting mood, language development and motor skills. I look forward to meeting you and your mini MAESTROS!
